Engineering Manager

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, structure and grow complete design organization
2. High Level communication and necessary skills to deal effectively with clients, government officials, classification societies, flag states and the Board of Directors
3. Focus on achieving results, meeting targets and working as part of a highly productive team
4. Devise and implement work practices and systems. Organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer based information

Requirements:

1. Graduate or post graduate of Naval Architect with minimum 10 years experience in Design office/ Shipyard.
2. Must have experiences and background in shipbuilding, marine and offshore
3. Significant experience in senior design leadership roles
4. Proven leadership and communication skills and experience managing medium to large design business/departments (preferably in project oriented environment)
5. Exposure to Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electrical Design Fit out Design and Research & Development
6. In depth experience in dealing with International classification societies and flag states including intimate knowledge of applicable rules and regulations
