Technical Consultant (Payment Solutions)

Eastcompeace Smart Cards is a leading Smart Card Solution provider in the
Telecommunication and Banking industry. Headquartered in the People’s Republic
of China, it has several subsidiaries based overseas to support its growing business
network. Eastcompeace (Singapore) Smart Card Pte Ltd is looking for suitable
candidates to join us as Technical Consultants.

Main responsibility:
1) Provide consultancy on multiple aspects of card products and devices that are
related to acquiring (terminal and network) and related systems for contact
and contactless smartcard payments.
2) Responsible for working with the Sales team to determine and document
business needs and requirements.
3) Works with R&D to identify technical solutions and business process
improvements that are in line with product and business strategy.
4) Contributor to technical specifications and solution definition for Banking,
Security and Contactless products and services, and ensures that all technical
documentation (requirements, process flows, testing requirements) are
completed to a high standard.
5) Identifies enhancements to product offering and undertake feasibility studies
on emerging complementary payment options.
You are also required to provide timely technical support to customer and internal
team members.

Requirements
1. Degree/Diploma in Electronic or Computer Engineering.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and sustain
good working relationship with customers.
3. Able to document and process technical details clearly.
4. Knowledge and relevant experience with credit card payments industry and the
international card payment schemes and devices, in particular relating to both
POS terminals and to cards.
5. Project Management skills.
6. Possesses initiative, works well independently and in a team.
7. Frequent travelling at short notice will be required.
8. Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
