Responsibilities

·                      Receiving of incoming goods

·                      Checking of physical deliveries against documents (Delivery Order, Packing list etc.)

·                      To inform Inventory Clerk / Warehouse Supervisor immediately of any discrepancies, either of quantity and/or grade of the delivery, against Purchase Order and Delivery Order

·                      Will be required to actively involve in the inventory or stock count of the site

·                      To do goods receiving count and inspection for incoming goods

·                      To lead and assist in stuffing and loading of outgoing goods

·                      Housekeeping and maintenance of store

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Verifies all outside shipping documents
• Schedules freight companies
• Schedules Mod Shop deliveries and pick ups
• Quality Control /Product Condition

Project Orders and Pulling Shorts:

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Records heat numbers and makes sure MTRs are printed for each item.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders onto staging areas for packing and shipping.
• Packages or crates valves accurately.
• Checks accuracy of packing slip versus material pulled.

Receiving Stock:

• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Inspector/Quality Control – inspects orders that have been pulled, product condition and verifying that the order is correct.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises Warehouse Support staff.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining warehouse support staff;  addressing complaints and resolving problems;  monitors attendance and punctuality of warehouse support staff and monitors appropriate check out times and appropriate time is taken for breaks.  

Computer Skills
Familiar with different computer software – Windows 7, knowledge of AS400 is a plus

Dormitory Officer

Job Description

-Handle the general maintenance of both dormitory building and the surrounding to ensure that the buildings are in safe, clean and live-in conditions

-In charge of the dormitory house keeping team and plan the duty roster of the 4 dormitory workers and supervise their work

-Plan monthly corridor, toilet & dinning area cleaning schedule and ensure that these cleanliness are up to standard

-Conduct monthly stock count of pantry items and request for purchase where necessary

-Conduct ad hoc kitchen inspection for both Indian & Bangladeshi caterers and provide timely feedback

-In charge of the tool box in the dormitory and ensure items are correct and stored safety when not in use

-Escort resigned workers to Airport, ensure that they check-in to immigration and collect the work permit back from them to HR

-Conduct monthly room inspection and advise workers to comply with the dormitory regulations accordingly

-Conduct monthly room key inspection together with security

-Perform simple repair and maintain work and raise request to Maintenance

/Procurement on professional work for example, electrical and wiring

-Supervise the job completion of external vendors like rubbish collection, area fogging, bed bug, fire alarm and fire tech services etc

-Maintain and upkeep the dormitory vehicle

-Stand in as Driver to send workers to and from clinic or hospital when the driver is on leave or not available

-Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

-At least GCE O-Level or equivalent.

-Knowledge of computer system (Windows, Ms Word, Ms Excel).

-Class 3 Driving License is a MUST.

-Mature, independent, initiative, comfortable to deal with different levels of people, eg: workers, senior management and government bodies.

-Must be willing to work shift, long hours and attend to ad-hoc work request.
