Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing engineering support to production operations.
Formulates and implements machining process improvements with established targets and timing
in support for the manufacturing deliverables.
Productivity improvements by carrying out machining time reductions via high speed machining,
tooling optimization and process optimization.
Interface with Engineering to advise cost effective solutions and standards for manufacturability
of products.
Raise AFEs related to machine tools and tooling.
Support implementation of special projects involving newly introduced products and specialized
machine tools.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree,
Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering
(Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations, Engineering
Oil/Gas or equivalent.
Strong in high speed machining process. In depth knowledge of cutting tools selection, coatings,
machine tool evaluation etc.
Good contacts with global and regional tooling and machine tool suppliers.
Understanding lean will be an advantage.

-5-8 years in Planning, preferably in O&G field.
-Knowledge of Primavera preferably P6.2 or Primavera enterprise.
-Programming, scheduling and progress tracking of projects.
-Co-ordinate with site Supervisor and subcontractors on progress matters and prepare Monthly and weekly reports.
-Highlight critical activities & other constraints to Project Manager.
-Provide upto date data and summary on progress matters as and when required.
-Measure and analyze process performance and deviation.
-Participate in the meetings with Clients and internal meetings whenever required.
-Calculate Productivity analysis.

Job Description
-Resolve technical issues with the client site representative.
-Ensure and maintain material and works quality/standards according to project specification.
-Generate and enforce targets according to schedule and ensure proper material handling on site.
-Re-solve site issues through coordination with client’s representative.
-Monitor and manipulate site execution in line with sequence of works.
-Attend weekly sub-con meeting and resolve highlighted site problems issues.

-Prepare and update status of punch list and ensure all cleared punch items to be acknowledged by the client reps.

Job Requirements
-At least Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-Min 8 to 10 years of experience in handling E&I work, preferably from Marine / Oil and
Gas industry.
-Team player with good interpersonal and management skills.
-Resourceful and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
