Dormitory Officer

Dormitory Officer  ( Shipyard Ind )

Job Description

-Handle the general maintenance of both dormitory building and the surrounding to ensure that the buildings are in safe, clean and live-in conditions

-In charge of the dormitory house keeping team and plan the duty roster of the 4 dormitory workers and supervise their work

-Plan monthly corridor, toilet & dinning area cleaning schedule and ensure that these cleanliness are up to standard

-Conduct monthly stock count of pantry items and request for purchase where necessary

-Conduct ad hoc kitchen inspection for both Indian & Bangladeshi caterers and provide timely feedback

-In charge of the tool box in the dormitory and ensure items are correct and stored safety when not in use

-Escort resigned workers to Airport, ensure that they check-in to immigration and collect the work permit back from them to HR

-Conduct monthly room inspection and advise workers to comply with the dormitory regulations accordingly

-Conduct monthly room key inspection together with security

-Perform simple repair and maintain work and raise request to Maintenance

/Procurement on professional work for example, electrical and wiring

-Supervise the job completion of external vendors like rubbish collection, area fogging, bed bug, fire alarm and fire tech services etc

-Maintain and upkeep the dormitory vehicle

-Stand in as Driver to send workers to and from clinic or hospital when the driver is on leave or not available

-Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

-At least GCE O-Level or equivalent.

-Knowledge of computer system (Windows, Ms Word, Ms Excel).

-Class 3 Driving License is a MUST.
